It buys and processes coffee cherry from 8000 organic farms across the northern part of the mountain. It is also Africa’s first certified organic producer since 2002. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat makes coffees from Sipi Falls special is that they take each step of the value chain seriously in order to ensure coffee quality. They facilitate coffee cherry retrieval, de-mucilaging, fermentation, washing, drying, and even an on-site cupping lab for monitoring and quality checks. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis results in a very clean and well-represented expression of coffee coming from Elgon.
