Fructifero Farm based in Marmag, Bukidnon specializes in the production of fine Philippine robusta coffee. This is our 2nd year working with this farm and we're so excited to share this new lot of coffee with you.
This anaerobic natural lot is a result of our ongoing consultations with Lucia Solis, a fermentation specialist for coffee. With Lucia's advice, Fructifero farm was able to create a new fermentation protocol and develop this new flavor with minimal risk. This lot of coffee boasts unique and exciting flavors, especially for robusta. In the cup, expect flavors of tropical fruits, cherry, and wine.
We believe this is an incredible expression of a robusta coffee and showcases the quality potential of robusta if it is treated like specialty coffee. With climate change and global warming, we believe it is important to invest the time and resources in order to develop fine robusta's quality for specialty coffee to remain inclusive and sustainable.
Year-on-year quality improvements are a result of a long-term collaboration with farms brought about by continuous feedback from both sides as well as the application of better roasting techniques as we become very familiar with the producer's coffee.
We are proud to offer some of the best Philippine coffees we can find. Every Philippine coffee purchase you make, enables to further our collaboration and improve Philippine coffee. Thank you for your continuous support!
