Tanzania Kilimanjaro Peaberry

Located on Tanzania's northern border, Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain. Here, the mountainous surroundings provide a rich volcanic soil suitable for the production of quality coffee.

This coffee is sourced from smallholder farmers cultivating coffee in some of Tanzania’s highest altitude growing areas in the Kilimanjaro region. We are very excited to feature this coffee as it has very interesting flavors notes at such an affordable price point. In the cup, this coffee has a beautiful fresh and lively acidity presenting itself as blueberry, watermelon, and currants. These wonderful fruit flavors are bright, sweet, and refreshing.

This is a medium light roast, good for both filter coffee and may be used for a fruit forward espresso with a low to medium body.

If you enjoyed Tanzania Ruvuma, then this will be a treat! Expect a higher cup score compared to Ruvuma and a flavor experience similar to your favorite bright and juicy Kenyan coffees.
